Shinrin-yoku

A quick note – I recently came across this article:

http://www.telegraph.co.uk/travel/destinations/asia/japan/articles/forest-therapy-japan-bathing-woods-wellness-relax/

which discusses the Japanese art of Shinrin-yoku or “forest bathing”. It rings so true with me, the relaxation and resultant health benefits associated with spending time walking in forests. It is something I would like to look into further, perhaps alongside British cultures which believe in the meditative power of forests (so called “tree huggers”). Perhaps it will trigger some insight into my walks which might inspire some photography!
